Welcome

'She is dynamic, a walking example of women hood. Carries strength in her speech, defies odds with her hands, and warms hearts with her dimpled smile. She will teach you a lesson molded from her very hands, pick you up in your darkest hour or just make you roar from the gut. She's never lived an ordinary day in her life....come flip through her pages, listen to her stories, learn from her mistakes(she makes many). Hear what she has to say, because once you know her- You will never forget her. '

'Najmah53 is deception...unassuming and innocent, then she gets on a mic, and rips those words up!'
-Abiodun Oyewole, Founding member of The Last Poets

'Najmah53 is a very inspiring woman; there is no question about it. She is a poet, spoken word artist, rapper, fashion designer, mother, inspirational speaker, and there are no limits to what she can do. At first when Dr. Raheem announced that we would be meeting a female Islamic rapper I had to stop and ponder what she would be like because that combination of identity was so unique and scarcely heard together.  Meeting Mrs. Abraham shattered all my expectations away. She is genuine, kind, and honest person,

I appreciate how open and honest she was to the class about her experiences.'

-Ashley R.  Graduate Student, California State University, Fresno
